The 4A's is excited to celebrate the sixth anniversary of The Face of Talent, the industry's premier event to celebrate and engage top diverse talent, with you this August.

The Face of Talent was established in 2011 as a catalyst for agency leaders, and their clients, to demonstrate their commitment to two of the most important issues facing our industry—Talent and Diversity. The multi-day symposium, including the Diversity Leadership Luncheon, attracts over 750 advertising and marketing executives. This series of events is designed to celebrate and showcase over 140 talented diverse college seniors and graduates that comprise the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) and 4A’s Foundation Scholars.


The Face of Talent also serves as a community-building platform to inspire and retain more than 2,800 MAIP alumni and nearly 400 4A’s Foundation Scholars, who continue to advocate and champion diversity in advertising.

“It’s better to be on time and almost-there, versus perfectly late.”

As CEO of DigitasLBi North America, Tony sets the strategic course and vision for the agency’s largest region, with clients including American Express, Sprint, Delta and eBay.

Two driving forces have remained constant throughout Tony’s extensive career: his love of advertising and his entrepreneurial spirit. Often referred to as DigitasLBi’s “Chief People Advocate,” he is the agency’s vocal champion for culture, diversity, and talent. Under Tony’s leadership, DigitasLBi has received numerous accolades, including Advertising Age Best Places to Work (#4); Adweek’s Media Plan of the year; LinkedIn’s Most InDemand Employers; IAB’s Most Awarded Agency of the Decade; and MAIP Agency of the Year (and that’s just in 2014).

During his previous role as president of the Digitas northwest region, Digitas Chicago tripled in size, attracting clients such as MillerCoors, Whirlpool and Sprint. In 2013, Tony was elected to the AdCouncil Board of Directors; he is also currently on the boards of Chicago Public Media, the American Association of Advertising Agencies (Chicago Chapter), Off the Street Club and Chicago Techweek.

Prior to Digitas, Tony was CMO at DraftFCB Chicago and also held various management positions at Leo Burnett.

Tony is a proud graduate of Brown University and a second generation “Mad Man”. When he’s not on a plane, in a boardroom, or writing his weekly “Tony’s Tuesday Reader,” Tony can be found on Lake Michigan on his sailboat with his two children and wife Tracy.
