MANAGER, Diversity & Inclusion
Taylor Yarbrough was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and has lived in Houston, Atlanta, and New York City. As a graduate of Spelman College, Taylor earned her BA in Psychology. Her introduction into the advertising world was as an intern at Ogilvy & Mather in NYC where she worked on the British Airways Account. Taylor was later hired full-time at Ogilvy South (Atlanta) where she served on the Black Diaspora leadership team and founded the inaugural Mandela Day of Service at the agency.
Some of her accolades and accomplishments include the Bill Sharp Award (2012), the Unsung Hero Award (Ogilvy, 2013), and graduating from the 4A’s Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies (2014).
After working in the creative staffing industry at both Creative Circle and The Creative Group (TCG), Taylor was introduced to her dream job at the American Association of Advertising Agencies when she was honored with the role of Diversity & Inclusion Manager. She hopes to continue the legacy that MAIP has established in the advertising industry over the last four decades.
Taylor is a very proud big sister and in her spare time, enjoys singing/songwriting, writing poetry, and photography.
