THE FACE OF TALENT

The 4A's is excited to celebrate the sixth anniversary of The Face of Talent, the industry's premier event to celebrate and engage top diverse talent, with you this August.

The Face of Talent was established in 2011 as a catalyst for agency leaders, and their clients, to demonstrate their commitment to two of the most important issues facing our industry—Talent and Diversity. The multi-day symposium, including the Diversity Leadership Luncheon, attracts over 750 advertising and marketing executives. This series of events is designed to celebrate and showcase over 140 talented diverse college seniors and graduates that comprise the 4A’s Multicultural Advertising Intern Program (MAIP) and 4A’s Foundation Scholars.

The Face of Talent also serves as a community-building platform to inspire and retain more than 2,800 MAIP alumni and nearly 400 4A’s Foundation Scholars, who continue to advocate and champion diversity in advertising.

Brand Group Director
Horizon Media

Lauren began her career in media at the multicultural agency, MV42, planning and buying for the beauty brand, AVON. Since then, she has developed a rich experience in both the Multicultural and General Markets, working with clients across a range of categories including Food & Beverage, QSR, Retail, Telecom and Consumer Electronics.

In her current role as Brand Group Director at Horizon Media, she is the account lead on the Sperry and Snyder’s Lance portfolio of brands, overseeing communication plan development and integration across various channels, including paid media and social community management. As a 2007 MAIP alum, Lauren is actively involved in and passionate about the development of multicultural and junior-level talent in the advertising industry.  It was this passion that led her to organize the first Multicultural Media Talent Pipeline event during AdWeek 2010 and to develop the 4A’s ADSResolve event in 2014, a one-day socially minded think tank to inspire the younger generation of our industry. She has been recognized by the 4A’s as a Rising Media Star and was nominated as one of the 2016 MAIPers to Watch.

Lauren holds dual Bachelors of Science in Advertising and Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin and lives in a tiny apartment in Chelsea that makes her home-sick for Texas’ wide-open spaces every day.
