GLOBAL CHIEF COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER, DIGITASLBI
As Global Chief Communications Officer, Jill leads the communications strategy and reputation management for DigitasLBi, a global marketing and technology agency with 6,000 employees across 40 offices in 25 countries.
A student of advertising and ad agencies with 18 years of experience, Jill is a member of DigitasLBi’s Global Strategy Board. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for Advertising Women of New York as well as ColorComm, a business community for women of color in the communications industry. In 2015, she was the recipient of the ColorComm Circle Award for achievement in communications. Jill is also on the PR committee of the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As) and is an active mentor in various organizations that empower women in the advertising industry. Her PR Week article, “10 Things I Know for Sure (sort of)”, offers a lens into the lessons she learned as a woman, mother, wife, daughter, manager, and minority.
Jill has helped secure the highest industry accolades for DigitasLBi and its talent, including AWNY Woman of the Year, AAF Hall of Achievement award, OMMA Agency of the Year, AdAge “A-List”, Forbes “Most Powerful Women” list, ADWEEK “Agency of the Year”, and IAB’s “Most Awarded Agency of the Decade”.
Prior to DigitasLBi, Jill was EVP, Global Communications Director for Starcom MediaVest Group and Corporate Communications Director for MediaVest USA. She also worked at McCann-Erickson, Universal McCann, and J. Walter Thompson in various roles, including international planning and buying, print buying, and marketing.
Jill’s talents were evident early in her career. She was named an AdAge “Rising Star” and was the recipient of the Gene Kummel scholarship, a rising star program offered at McCann-Erickson that provided her with the opportunity to work in Beijing.
Despite her many accolades, Jill’s favorite role is tickle monster and mom to her three children.
